January 11, 2026 is a date I will never forget. I stepped on the scale and saw 267.2 pounds. I knew I had let my weight get to a place where I wasn't comfortable, but seeing that number made it real. I felt frustrated, discouraged, and honestly tired of telling myself that I would start tomorrow. I wanted to feel better, move easier, have more energy, and recognize the person looking back at me in the mirror again.
I had tried different things before, but I kept ending up in the same place. I didn't want another temporary fix or another promise that sounded too good to be true. I wanted to find something I could actually stick with and make part of my everyday life.
So on January 11th, I made a decision: enough was enough. I was going to stop putting myself last and finally do something for me. I didn't know exactly where this journey would take me, or how much my life and outlook would change. I just knew I had to begin. That first step became the beginning of a journey I'm incredibly proud of.
Today i am down 42.1 pounds and still going.
